I wouldn't either. I had vibes for 3 days that were only really translating to my steering wheel, and I wanted to rip my fucking hair out.

They were not nearly as bad as yours, according to your video.

Probably not as bad as mine.

You should sell and buy a Ford.

I hope this thread never dies.

I'll live, but I will not forgive or forget.. I wasn't planning on going any further with this, just responding to non hostile questions. We are focusing on the charger at this point. Next year the tacoma will go bye bye and it will all be behind us.

 I think you're in a bad situation? Is that better? Didn't you create this thread for some conversation, suggestions, and criticism or did you not know you were on TacomaWorld.

Good luck to you sir and I really do hope you get out of your mess sooner than later.

Yeah, that's why it's just sitting in the garage, except for a the weekend garbage run, can't stand driving it over 45mph.. cause the vibration is getting worse.

I know what to expect.. just nearing that tipping point... 49/51

I do understand the entertainment value other peoples discomfort, troubles, misery and misfortune holds for the majority of the population.. it's all part of the game... I get it.

I try to find the humor in everything. After losing my college scholarship, being wrongfully accused of a major crime a few years ago, and having a divorce before the age of 25 if I didn't use humor to interpret things I would snap.

At this point do you think you'll keep making payments till you're even with your equity or are you going to trade for the loss? I kind of figured you'd end up trading in but if you don't are you saving a penny on the dollar at this point? Not to mention your sanity with that TuRD sitting in the garage.

Sorry I'm an idiot when it comes to financing

Why can't you just trade it in at the toyota dealer? If it is a "characteristic" they shouldn't lower the trade in right?

A few posts back he said he paid around 30K for his SR5. The best offer I think he got on trade was around 23K. If he trades now he's going to eat the difference between his trade minus the amount of payments he's made against the truck. So he'd be out another 3-5 K likely.

If he waits a year or two the amount left on his car loan will be less than the trade in value of his truck. At that point he can trade off the Tacoma and walk out of any dealership with the same payments on another car or truck as if he'd never bought the Tacoma. The problem for him with waiting between now and that point that I would personally have is that he has to keep paying Toyota for something he's not using or happy with which isn't fun. The value of his payments between now and then may come close to the amount of money he'd have to eat right now too.

I am waiting to hear back from the dealer in Manchester, TN. about their new shipment of tacomas. The service manager said if they don't vibrate like ours, he'll try to get the owner to push toyota in to replacing the tacoma. Not getting my hopes up, but based on whats been said here and the service techs personal experience, mine vibrates worse that any other tacoma they've driven.

    If that falls though...

I have to recover from the expense of the Charger, transportation, flights etc. can't take on everything at once. Prob be around the dec/jan before we trade it away and pay the loan.

Well, toy of mb did not offer any incentives or discount on tacomas. Based on the balance, which includes taxes and all the other crap fees.. the payoff is close to 28k at this point, the selling dealer offered aprox 3k off invoice, which came to 23k, but they stated it might not be even that high. That's 5k. That does not take in to account 3k paid out already in payments or wasted on attempted fixes.
The selling dealer did not give me any special concessions based on buying the truck there or making a killing on my trade in. The Dodge dealer down the street offered me 500 more on trade in than the selling dealer.

If I didn't have to spend 20K right now on the charger, transport, flights, etc. I would dump that bitch in a new york minute, but I have to wait a bit.
