I like them ( 295/70/17) They just hum on the highway.
They say they will swap them out for the AXt's without a problem. They dont rub at all.

Yeah it looks great i just do a lot of cross country driving so im on the road more then off. If they went so loud i would keep them for sure. Just figured an all terrain tire is better for me. But thanks for the positive input guys!

Those tires are siped, but I wonder how they'll be in the snow. Keep us posted once the white stuff starts to fly.

Go out with a breaker bar and torque wrench to retighten them. Town Fair is notorious for cranking down the lugs super tight.

Yeah i noticed that actually! Well they are changing them out for me in 3 days for the AXTs. So Rims and tires cost 1600 and i just sold my stock rims on toyo open country At2s for 900 with wheel spacers. So i made out pretty well. Town fair actually hooked it up lol

The guy who bought the stock rims with tires didnt have a lift on his tacoma and i told him hes definitively going to need to lift it at least 2 1/2 to fit 285/70's. He said hes going to try it without lifting it first. Man that's probably going to be tight! or just not fit at all.

So the title of this thread should be changed to, "Everything Worked Out Just Fine At Town Fair Tire".

But seriously, the mods should change the title of this thread. People can google Town Fair Tire, and this thread will pop up in their search, and it could hurt their business.

Most people aren't going to read the whole thread and see that it worked out in the end.

I disagree. I think Town Faire Tire deserves the bad rap they get. They've earned it. I went there one time when I first moved to New England. I needed them to check a tire and tell me if they could find a slow leak. I left on a donut because they took the tire off the rim and refused to put it back on. I refused to buy a tire from a crooked place like that so I drove down the road and spent money elsewhere. Nobody should ever go to Town Faire Tire, IMO. Unless its someone you really hate. :D

What does that have to do with this thread? This thread is the problem since it is basically a complete lie about the business ripping him off.

I disagree. Now that I've posted about my bad experience with Town Faire Tire, this thread is partially about bad Town Faire Tire experiences. I feel that this tempers the initial overreaction while at the same time lending credibility to the assertion that Town Faire Tire is the suckass of all tire shops. I firmly hold to the belief that Town Faire Tire truly is the suckass of all tire shops irrespective of thread title or intent.

The OP still has yet to answer or show proof of original invoice where "claimed" tires were ordered and received "wrong" product. I agree with changing title or deleting thread.

Slightly off topic, I have the Mastercraft MXT's and they have been good so far. Yes they do hum but I don't pay any attention to it anymore. I can't wait to get them in a foot of snow.

Honestly OP I would just stick with them. They look very good on your truck.
