I love this body style of the Tacoma. Does it have the 3.0 or the 3.4L?

    3.4l

No tacoma comes with the 3.0. 95-97 tacomas are similar to the pre tacos but very different.

It is the best year though cause they look similar to our older bothers
    96 ftw!

Ah I missed the year of his truck. And 3.4 for the win. Those 3.0's suck.

I heard the 3.0 was uber fast and really fuel efficient :stirthepot:

I love your truck OP. I want that body but with a 3.4 or a LCE 22re in a older truck.

^LoL... I like that word, "Uber".

Thanks for the compliments, too. Hey, how are you liking your 4Runner? I've always had a soft spot for 1st gen 4Runners...

Lol I love my 4Runner. I wouldn't trade her for anything. I need to get some things done but I haven't had the time or money to do so. I always keep my eye out for people selling 4Runners real cheap just so I can scoop up another haha

^I know what you mean about always having some things to do but not having the time.

In other news, check out what Wifey bought me:

That's awesome. I wish I had a work bench. I use the tailgate on my 4Runner :anonymous:

^Haha, I was thinking about taking my 4" and making a portable vice setup in my trailer hitch with it. (kinda similar) Could be handy on the trail!

That's not a bad idea. I don't have a huge selection of tools, but everything I own stays in the 4Runner. I also keep extra coolant, engine and gear oil in the back. I have had to use all of those items either on the trail or getting to it haha.

^I'm leaning in that direction myself. I figure, if I need it in the garage, I'll REALLY need it out on the trail. BTW, my wife got me that vise for $35! For a brand new Wilton, I couldn't believe it.

I got one of these for Christmas a few years ago:

    http://www.lowes.com/pd_338518-22328-85183_0__?productId=3364134&Ntt=kobalt+tool&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dkobalt%2Btool&facetInfo=

That is about all I have tool wise except for some miscellaneous items.

You're telling me. I saw a Snap-On truck in the Ingles parking lot and contemplated robbing it
