Rock what you got. These guys don't mind. Just don't
break down in a ford. Yeah they will fix your truck and change your tires while you drink beer and do a nothing to help them out. But they will talk shit to you the whole time they are fixing your truck for you. :D Even trade in my book.

hey guys Robby (Rabs) will be taking lead of the run, iseeredandyellow i will post locations and time as soon he puts them up on club frontier. this is what he posted, anyone else trying to make it out on the 31st?

Everyone is welcomed to joined stock or not. 2wd is totally fine. We will plan seperate runs if that's the case, no worries!! Everyone that's thinking of coming should and just have fun regardless, that's always a promise in the desert! I will be 2wd and 4 cylinder so it is doable but far from stock..
It's gunna be a little bit on the busier side for holloween weekend but it'll be fun. I'm thinking we will camp off county line rd. I'll post coordinates later or tomorrow.
Myself and Carjeep will be heading out on Friday, the 31st and meeting up along the way somewhere. Not sure what time yet, still don't know if I have to work half day or have a full day off. We will also be bringing our toys(car-atv,myself-dirt bike) if anyone else is interested in bringing theirs that'd be really cool too!
As for camping,it is free.. how ever my only rule is to leave my camp site cleaner then when I arrived so I ask the same of everyone whom attends. There are dumpers on the way out, no need to leave anything behind.. There is restrooms, but it's basically a cement version of a porta potty.. They do clean them usually Thursday sometimes even Friday but they still can/do sometimes become NASTY on busier weekends.. We will be about a 1/4 mile or less to the closest one If you bring firewood, please no nails! Also I'm not sure if it's a state park rule or not but please no glass bottles either, if they break it's just a mess and it'd act just like a nail in the dirt. Cut feet or hands or popped tires.
And most importantly HAVE A DAMN GOOD TIME!!

Pretty stoked to find this thread... I'm gonna be out there with the wife and some of her coworkers. They're all riding dirt bikes I was hoping there'd be some Tacos out there I could run with. I'll be headed that way Saturday morning and leaving Sunday afternoon. Pretty excited there's gonna be some stock/ mid-travel guys too I always get left in the dust with the LT guys. Lol add me to the list!

ahh Ryan! thanks so much for copying and pasting what robby posted in CF, with this new job and school work i have been forgetting to update you guys. I do apologize. I was about to be done for tonight when I remembered. i will be heading out friday after work and should be getting there around sundown. personally I'm not a coordinates type of guy but I'm more than happy to send a drop pin location for those of you who have an iPhone and or give verbal directions Friday night. 619-888-8nineten.

Finding camps at night is really hard to do especially when you dont know what everyones truck looks like, there are a crap load of other people there and youre unfamiliar with the area. My suggestion is to camp near a big landmark such as the Blu Inn. Has a large radio tower with a blinking light, not hard to miss and easy to see if you get lost in the desert too.
