    Meh... it's all good.

And don't worry, I'll take care of Young Brett. When he shows up to look at the AALs I'll be waiting for him in my one-shoulder-strap wrestling singlet.

What does it take to get LED headlights? On that note, dual color?

$200 each? holy shit. Are there LEDs that just replace the standard bulb? The ones in the link wouldn't work anyway with the '01-'04s

Those LED lights are 5x7 only..I'm thinking of getting some.

They are pricey. But the reviews are raving.

Wait, what? I missed this post.

Come on man. I don't mind BS in this thread but don't e-posture or throw out ridiculousness like this to friends.

Did you guys see if these lights produce any heat? My only concern with LEDs in the mountains is that snow can build up on the lights... then you'd have to periodically get out and clean them off. I've even had buildup trouble on my halogens and HIDs. Just a thought...

Damn. I've never had that issue. My halogens melt snow right off. 100w though. Not sure about the HIDs..

I doubt the LEDS would do that. Interesting point.

Yeah, I noticed that switching from 100W halogen offroad lights to 55W HIDs let a lot more snow build up. I actually almost had to pull over last year when driving down a mountain pass at midnight because neither my headlights or HIDs had enough wattage to keep up with the snow. When I looked at the trucklite link, I saw that they were adjustable wattage, but they topped out at 33W. I'd be curious to see some people's experience with the LEDs from someone who has them for sure!

    Oh shit.

    Great thinking.

I'll ask Del Neko (or whatever his name is) who posted them up in this thread.

Speaking of... I might slowly start putting some lights on my truck.

Might pick your brain about wiring everything up properly and doing it right from the start.

eg Fuse boxes, Blue Sea thingamobobbies, relays, etc...
