Haha damn it bro I'm working on it! I won't be back until the end of the semester in winter.

But yes it's lifted actually about 2" currently. Could go up mire though. I thought it was illegal to not have flaps in our state? I had a friend get pulled over for that years ago but never was sure.

Depends on the cop. I really think the law refers to if a certain amount of the tire is not covered by the wheel well, then mudflaps are required. But I could be wrong.

Cops typically go for guys that have 37's and bigger on their trucks that throw mud and shit everywhere..

why are SUV's (including jeeps) exempt? Especially if they have the same amount of lift, tires that a truck does?
they throw the same amount of mud and crap as a truck.

Well shit. Guess I'm gonna trim anyways for the time being. I may take em off at some point in the future and put them back on as proof to the courts if need be.

Next step is determining about the passenger side cab mount chop. Did the drivers side before the tires were installed.

I sat down one time and figured out how much I've spent into stereo systems over the last 16 years.

Lets just say I could of paid off a new Tundra and Tacoma and maybe a motorcycle by now.

As Seth has learned, the cost of running high end stereo can get out of hand super fast! And once you start getting into SPL its a whole entire different beast. SPL is nothing but headaches and lots of time and money figuring out how to squeeze another 1db out of a burp.

I dont have mud flaps. Never been harassed about. My wife has on her truck tho. So I put my old flaps on her truck. They arent stopping anything tho. They are small for her 33s

I haven't had mudflaps in forever, been pulled over several times, and haven't had a problem yet.

Haven't had any issues with mud flaps.

If Toyota recommends the smart stop technology to you guys, DON'T DO IT!!!!! Basically you won't be able to 2 foot drive if you're wheeling. I use my brake and gas at the same time to avoid wheel slippage with the open diffs. If they do the recall, it'll mean that any input on the brake will cause all accelerator input to be cancelled out. It's no bueno

    Mornin' gents.

    Two questions have my curiosity..

What is the best way to degrease and clean the engine bay? Mine is FILTHY.

And what is a good all around, easy to apply and use wax for the truck. I am thinking mine needs a coat or two before the winter.

Right now I'm only about 5-600 into this truck, or what's going to be in it. Hopefully going to keep it under 1k.

Oh I know! My hobby before this was audio. I learned a lot from reading, but I will never do spl. I think its retarded personally. I prefer a solid ground pounder. Idc about numbers, just wanna be loud but still sound "good".
