BE VERY CAREFUL ON THE PASS DEAL, there is ton's of stores that are not selling them now due to the stipulations put in place (minimum order of like 3500.00) and as of last weekend from what I read noone at glamis or the stores on the way had received their orders yet, so don't get caught short, buy online and buy early

"Many don't know this but...You technically need a camp fire permit for Glamis.

Here's the info and links to get one. You'll have to watch a short video, take a short quiz and then print your permit. I've kept permits in my trailer for the past few years and never been asked. Also, keep in mind, one would think if you are camping with people doing anything illegal with the fire and you say..."I have a permit"...you may be the one responsible. The permits are only good for the calendar year so you'll need a new one Jan 01, 2015."

You only get busted when your being an idiot.

    -NO GLASS!!!!!
    -NO Pallets with Nails!!!!
    -NO TRASH around camp.
-FLAGS on ALL Bikes and trucks

Follow those 4 basic rules and you won't be harassed. Ive been going to Glamis since 1989 and have learned the hard way when I was younger. (Even got a $500 Weed ticket out there in 1999..lol )

Also parking off of Gecko Rd. you will have more cops going around camp "looking for stuff" But if you camp in the washes like last year, it tends to be more chill when parked by Bushes and Trees.
(*I don't care where we park, but that's just a fact)

That is true about camping in the washes. Hmm too late to change? Or should we stay off Gecko?

**Also if it gets hot, You have trees for shade!!! (like last year)
Usually this time of year I like being in the washes for shade.

But I am open to whatever you guys want to do!!!!!

Also the washes are numbered making it easy to find camp. (but Gecko can be easy too)
Last year we were at Wash 6 I think

I thought it was wash 4.

And i know jd said that he likes camping near the canal. Not as much off Gecko. But thought about people trailering or with campers

Gecko is fine. But NO WAY im camping by canal. (its a good spot to camp, but not for this type of Meet) Not a good spot to park for a truck meet with people who don't know the area well.
And they will NEVER find us at night. Or get super stuck trying to find us.
So you guys decide if you want washes or Gecko rd.

Well i know someone last year buried themselves in the washes somewhere around 9. Trying to find us. And he had 4x4. I'm in for either Gecko is easy access and so are the washes. Gecko doesn't get the dust from throughout the dunes. But it's up to everyone.
