Damn. Mine weighs 530 and The day I bought it everyone was busy. I had to unload and figure out how to move it into my room.. got it to the room and realized my door, desk, and closet door had to come out to get it into my closet... Had I got a bigger model I probably would have left it in my garage...

    What's your budget?
To me the 3 main important parts to an ar is the barrel, bolt carrier and lower parts kit...
    Others will say differently.

I have a semi Franken ar.. LMT built lowers, and one PSA premium upper and one Daniel Defense Upper... Trust my life with both. Now if I can get a good deal on a LMT piston upper I would so buy it.

    get something like this

    http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/2416/category/4282/

    Then something like this.
    http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/barreled-upper-assemblies.html

Stick them together and you have an AR15

If the upper receiver does not come with a BCG or CH then make sure and add them in

I have had great luck with Aero Precision stuff. I've been through 3 of their lowers so far and one upper. No experience with their complete rifles though, just used their components.

My first AR was semi-frankenstein. Aero Precision lower, PSA PTAC upper, RRA lower parts kit and Magpul stock.

My current build is definitely Frankenstein'd. Aero Precision stripped upper and lower, Timney trigger, KNS pins, Magpul BAD lever and fixed rifle stock, Radical Arms barrel, Yankee Hill guard and I still need to find a BCG and muzzle device.

I sesond that! I love my PSA PA-15. The complete lower was on sale earlier this month for 170. Hell of a deal. Check out their durability!

Research! I learned how to put one together on youtube. A bunch of great info on how to do it. I have built 3 of them and would trust all of them with my life. My 16" is for hogs, my 10.5" is for home, my 7.5" is for fun. I get my parts from several different places. Looking for sales, I have never spent more than $500.00 on any of my builds. The places I source my parts are: Palmetto State Armory, AIM surplus, Primary Arms, Amazon. Where you may be in trouble is if these places don't ship to Canada. Also I dont go for the super expensive stuff, I dont care as long as I have a good barrel and BCG. All of my guns are Frankenguns.
    YMMV.

Anyone have any experience with the PSA 10.5" SBR uppers? Thinking of building an SBR and don't want to spend a shit load on an upper as I'm learning to reload. Just in case lol

Think I'm going to grab a LBK w/o FCG next time PSA is running a sale.

Shockingly we can. No suppressors though. MGs are good to go as long as your chief will give you a MG license and that's hit or miss. Depending on what town you live in depends if you can get one.

best option is to get keymod to save weight and space and mount a shit load of rails onto it when you realize that you cant superglue your flashlight, VFG, and bipod to the handguard

I have been building with Larue but, they have discontinued selling a few parts individually. I am looking at PSA and others, your post makes me think they are quality parts. Obviously you recommend?

And how long the rail is. Totally forgot that part. Ideally you want a 15" rail on a 14.5" barrel.
