Toyota is REALLY pushing the smart stop technology.... I don't want it! No 2-foot driving if you have the smart stop technology done

I'm hunting in the Kennebunk area on Nov. 3rd; I could bring it down then if this guy doesn't bite. Wants me to call him when I get out of work tonight. Probably so he can ask me what's the lowest I'll take over the phone AND via email.

 

Any input on the brake cancels out all input on the throttle. So if you two-foot drive to prevent wheels with less traction from spinning, you can't anymore

 

Toyota had to combat all those bogus 'unanticipated acceleration' claims somehow. Blame all the dipshits who crashed their cars and lawyered up.

I have a feeling that tuners are going to become more common as time goes on. People who actually know their vehicles are going to want ways to manipulate all the software that comes on cars these days.

 

Smart Stop, or 2 foot driving?

 

Because shifting to neutral is too complicated.

Bring it in for an oil change and see if they ask you about doing that recall.

Woburn foreign was trying to pressure me into it last month, and I told em they wouldn't see another penny of my business if they did that.
