    Thanks to "MsTrd" for her DIY thread I finally got done with mine. I used her step by step on the process of sanding and prep but I used a few different products because I wanted a textured finish.

    >>> MsTRD Thread <<<

    So here go's mine...

    Products I used plus gray primer (not pictured). The brown paint was only used to get the texture I wanted (very similar to truck bed coating). I used this same paint for my Toyota grille emblem and it has really held up well. It hasn't chipped in over a year so I thought it would work great on the bumper.

    Sanding done...No turning back now! :eek:

    Gray primer on...
    BlackCenterBumper006_6f644e08df5b1a8de9d3c48163934a6cee364752.jpg

    Then the brown textured paint...
    BlackCenterBumper009_0e73094ebb1019df06a096a1e5012ebaf0a97b4e.jpg

    Flat black paint is on!

    All done, still drying in some spots. It turned out good but I should have taped the sides a little better as it is not perfectly straight. Oh well.

    i think the moth was an indication for you to do the BHLM thats the only way you can take it out ... put the lights in the oven 300 degrees .. good luck and yeah dont forget to do a write up on "how to take a dead moth out of your headlight" hehe good luck

    good job on the bumper mod!

    as for the moth in the headlight, just take out the headlight, then try to work the moth to the hole where you put the main headlight bulb in. should fall right out. i had that problem with a blade of grass in my headlight.

    You should be able to get the moth out with a shop vac., and a small tube. Take the bulb out, and suck it out thru the hole the bulb left.

    you could get the moth out without taking the lights right apart, you will just have to take out the headlight and the bulbs out the back of it, then try and shake the moth out one of the bulb holes.
