Gotta link to the Bussmann fuse panel/box thing? I'm navigating their page and holy moly there's a lot on there.

LSC15 - no worries. Just seemed like a strange comment.

Yea they are handy. Water proof too. Just expensive to setup yourself as you have to buy a lot of parts

I've never had a problem with my LED pods in my bumper icing up :notsure:

I think they warm up more than most people think. Why else would they have a giant ass metal heatsink?

Logan, I wish you the best of luck in your business ventures, but politely suggest that you re-evaluate your marketing practices. Thanks for the neutral rep by the way!

Leds give off a lot of heat. But not sure if they radiate as much out the lens. .

Should still warm the whole thing up. I'll check my pods next time after a bit of a drive.

In that case I apologize for misinterpreting that statement.

^You got it Monte. The power side gets hot, but the bulbs don't... and the heat sink hardware is always out back. The same thing happens with our street lights out here. Every time we get heavy blowing snow, the LED street lights get covered and all intersections become 4-way stops. That being said, a couple of defroster wires across the front (or similar) would totally solve that problem. Maybe Trucklite has already incorporated that into their design?

^Man, if it had some sort of defrost capability... I'd probably buy a set too. I saw an XJ that had those lights and the output was pretty impressive. Plus, the units themselves look good.

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
PAM cooking spray. It helps keep the snow/ice off of the lenses. I also spray that stuff on my satellite dish before a storm. Keeps me from having to clean the snow off afterwards...though I did have to shovel my roof a few times last winter.

If they have defrost on them I would too.

The way Monte and I modded my front end is going to make for an... ummm... interesting procedure to change the bulbs.

There isn't enough room behind the housings to simply unplug, replace bulb and plug in.

I have to unhook the housings from all the springs and adjustment screws to move it forward a bit, then change the bulbs.

No biggie, but not as simple as it should be. I'm just making excuses so I can spend $400 on headlights.

On a more serious note, I really need to dial in and button up the driver's side housing. After going over rough roads, off road, etc... it ends up falling out of the top adjusting screw and pointing 5 feet in front of my truck :(

I need to really look at it but my first impression is that it needs a spring mounted in such a way that it pulls it "up" more.
