I have a 05 tacoma with camburg long travel kit and this noise has been driving me crazy it only happens over small bumps when the suspension does not get to cycle.

in the video you start to hear it when I hit the little ruts in the dirt parking lot and as soon as I get back on the road it goes away even if I steer and swerve I can't make it happen. I have jacked the truck up and checked every bolt on the entire kit and just can't seem to find a loose part on my truck to make that noise. I have also lubricated everything to try and eliminate noises. Please help me with suggestions my next step is going to be wheel bearings and replace uniballs, I just hope its one of those bc both are pretty pricey.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Can you describe what you hear? Video link isn't working on my phone.

If i had to describe it I would say like my cab bolt is loose, or my uniball is a loose fit the the UCA. The noise has been happening for about 3 months and I've had the camburg kit on my truck for little over 2 years

Is it just the video or do I see the lower control arm front bushing location moving when on the bumps ??

Did you jack it up and check the parts for movement ??? It sounds metal on metal (Ball joint bad/dry, Control arm bushing, Steering rack ???)

I jacked it up and I couldn't make anything make that noise, I'm going to take my coilover out this weekend and cycle the suspension to check everything haven't tried it yet with the coil out.

I'd not expect a noise - there is a lot of pressure on the spring/assembly even when you get the tire off the ground. You need to get a bar under it and lift it - like a front end check at inspection/pre alignment.

ok guys after long days of pulling my suspension apart and checking everything along with part changing and lubing everything I have found that the noise was my body mounts the rubber was pretty much gone and the sleeve was hitting the inside of the hole from the body to the frame. The noise could not be recreated by me in the garage bc it would only give me a little noise when I had someone sit in the driver seat and then I could finally make the mount make a small metal noise. I have replaced the front 4 body mounts and the truck actually feels so much better to drive, and has no more clunks or rattle noise up front. Now all I have left are the back 2 mounts and all them will be new. It was an easy change out and at only around 70$ I would recomend everyone to take a look at the rubber stock mounts and see if yours are cracked and torn. Thank you for all the imput and advice.

I don't know if I'd have the patience to go as gar as you did for the noise. Congrats and Thanks for posting your find !!! That was not something I'd have easily guessed.
