    Yes and no. You can have dogs in some areas but they're not allowed on most of hte boardwalks and not in the backcountry. Mostly because they' don't wan the dogs jumping into the water thinking its just like any normal pond and they can scare the wildlife too. When I went through 2 weeks ago and saw the grizzly these people drove by and their dog that was inside the vehicle went nuts, kinda spooked the bear and if the people would have had the window rolled down any more I'm sure the dog would have bolted out and went right for the bear. Last year on my fall trip these people had their dog with them (in their RV) and between the elk bugling and the wolves howling the dog was going nuts - like 4th of July fireworks nuts - all night long. It would go from barking to wimpering then to howling...kinda aggravating.

    They don't respond to the tv or computer like Ollie did. The didn't move a muscle. Cats can be meowing a lot on tv and they don't pay attention, but if I meow at them, they start looking for the kitty. In person might be a different story :notsure:
