You haven't seen unmarked till you see someone who's been pulled over by a police camry.

I work 3am-11am (the last two weeks) so I usually end up sleeping a little before my shift and after.. Today I got 4 hours before my shift.

    It's 3:34am right now.

Shift work fucks up your sleep schedule real bad. My coffee intake has skyrocketed since I started this shift.

    You didn't know this?

Part of owning a truck is to get the worst gas mileage possible. Have it dirty as possible at all times. And you MUST be towing something at all times.

    I feel you on this

Some of my local friends give me hell saying that my truck was built to beat on, tow shit, have dents, be dirty, go through mud all the time etc.
Thats the reason my truck is in the best shape out of the entire group, cause I care about that

I like to clean mine after she gets muddy.

They are worth some cash, but why not have fun with it? It's got 4WD and I (personally) like to use it! Why own something and now use it how you want to?!? That's like eating half the cake.

Mines 2wd, I use it, have fun with it, but don't beat it up or anything.

Mudding is fun as hell, I'd do it all the time if it wasn't bad for my truck. The thing is that it reduces the lifespan of parts underneath, gets caked everywhere. It just turns things into rusty pieces of shit so I stay away from it.

There's a difference between having fun and beating something!

I used to BEAT my Celica, it was a beater, and I did just that hahah.

The give a fuck factor is a lot higher with the truck.. Biggest investment yet!

Haha here goes nothing. Prof. recommended we use Matlab, but I never learned it like I should so I'm using excel.

But I have to input an equation to calculate beam deflection and plot it, equation is given, but the curve doesn't look like she said it should.

That's a fact. But there are ways to prevent or extend the life if you're diligent. like cleaning it right after, sure, if you leave the mud caked on everywhere for days on end.. it'll likely eat your paint and the vegetation starting to decay on/in the frame all speed up the rust process. And as we all know Taco's aren't known for their frame durability.

Any time I go to the mud I'm at the car wash spraying off the frame and any time I have the truck in the air I clean out as much mud from around it as I can.

At the end of the day, you gotta pay to play. And I accept the costs of the games I want to participate in.
