    That thing looks sweet!

I know there are some members on here that will make custom sig pics for people. Have any of you guys done it your selves? Are they using photoshop or is there another way?

Stereo you say? :D I've been installing stereo for over 15 years for fun. Used to compete in SPL drags.

It doesn't beg people to break in unless you are an idiot and bumping it in a parking lot before you go into a store/movie/etc... The only thing that you can see in my truck is the HU.

I made my own sig pic. Really simple version. I can help you out with that.

Also EVERYTHING made by beats is total shit. I mean total-fucking-pile-of-shit. The drivers are cheap, and the EQ they put on them is total bullshit.

Here is an example of how their software works. Turn beats off, it kills the bass and tricks you to think "wow this sounds like shit with it off" Turn it on and it just over drives the bass notes. Making you think its 'better' when its really not.

    Spectrum_9eab105c3af2e449c8f162d6dabbdac4e00b9b55.jpg

Here is another example that's more basic. The only differences is the bass output.

Now to top that off the beats headphones already have this bass curve built into them to help bring out their software.

Bottom line, its a trick to make people who don't know anything about audio feel like they are 'better'. If anyone wants to compare their beats to my $99 Audio-Technica I'll be more than happy to sit down and show you how bad beats really are. The ONLY beats that are somewhat decent are the PRO models. And at $500-700 range I'll show you an entire line of headphones that will out perform them all day long.

I've only been into audio for a few years now. I enjoy it a lot though. Mainly by myself but I've built a couple small systems for friends and family.

One thing I tell them: Do NOT bump in residential, stop lights/signs and in parking lots. Don't be those idiots. I tell them I'll personally rip their system out. It's douchey.

And good info on the beats! I have never been for them. I used to have a ~$50 pair of sennhieser in ears that sounded a lot better than the couple hundred dollar beats I've heard. It was funny.

So you have your CCNA Right now? Are you a networking Admin or in IT? I plan on getting my CCNA and then getting atleast one security cert. I actually work for a cabling contractor for commercial and government, I BUILD Data centers and NOCs lol from the ground up. Pull all cable ( cat6, OSP from the street, CCTV, Security Install, Fire Alarm, Speakers, Fiber Optic, and back bone cabling between IDFS and MDFS ), build cabinets, terminate cables, Fusion Splice fiber optic, and polish connecters. I do it all in low voltage cabling. So I am definitely am really liking networking, I know the whole contracting side now I want to be able to program their network and someday maybe be an independent contractor that does it ALL! Just passed my first Cisco CNT140 Class with an A tonight so im stoked about that, but ive still got a little farther to go. After I land a job in networking I will start to pursue the CCNP

InfoSec? What is that? Did you mean information? And I agree, the networking field is endless and you can keep learning, and learning, and learning which eventually does increase your investment. I also see networking going a lot further in security too aswell so I want to be able to design a network and Secure it extremely well. Know of any certs I can look up and kind of browse?

I am a Systems Administrator for an Aerospace company so Im more of a Jack of all trades in IT. I need to take some official tests but I've studied and practice tested for CCNA, MCITP in Win7 desktop on Enterprise. I also work with SCCM and have found that I really like that portion of what I do the most. I also have a BS in Business Administration with an IS minor.

Thanks to guys like you I dont have to run long runs of cat6 or fiber in the DC :D I only run cable ToR and every once in a while a 30ft across some cabinets. I'm an operations tech in a DC and do pretty much only hardware and low key administration if I am troubleshooting an issue. I do do some network though. Switch port configuration and network troubleshooting.

The thing I have seen with network is there a ton of people that do it but only a few are actually really good at it. If you do it do whatever you need to do to be the best you can because the guys that can't troubleshoot or think on their feet in the middle of a major change cause a ton of headaches. Network seems like a great job if you like the challenge.

It drives me crazy! There's no reason to IMO. I don't wanna hear your music just like you don't want to hear mine. But that's just me. No worries. I'll just make sure to bump louder or not be around you. ;)

In the truck its not that loud. Just an Alpine Type-R 12 with a Alpine PDX600.1 amp to power it. I built a custom box and it hits the lows good. If my windows are down its pretty loud on the outside but nothing stupid that people get pissed off at.

However, the Civic will be different. And that can, and will, piss people off. I only bump super hard before 9-10pm. After that I tone it down, but if you are rolling around during the day expect to hear me coming. I'll be the one bumping old school Too $hort raps :)

Haha. I thought you were talking about yours, not Colby's. I'm sure it still sounds good and eventually I wanna hear both of yours. But your both in Double cabs and running smaller equipment. I need to remember this is a truck site, not audio site. I'm used to being a small time enthusiast when it comes to people who have walled their vehicles and doing 160+. It's nice to know there are others here that like audio like myself!

That's no fun! Gotta be loud on the inside. Haha.

What do you have in your Civic?
