Considering doing so after the hunting season. My son did a bit a few months ago and liked it. How long is the one you are using? Also sounds like an investment if theft deterrent cable is a requirement. Sucks when they get stuff that you think they would mess with.:(

    What up fellas,

Decided on going with the synthetic line for the winch. Thinking of Warn M8000. Thoughts? Thanks :oldglory:

Can't go wrong with a warm. I put an offer on an xd9000 a couple days ago. It's several years old but works like a charm. It's on a wrangler and he's selling it because it needs motor work. Unfortunately he wants to keep it on the jeep so it will sell better

    Warns are stupid high..

I'd check out Engo. Great reviews & has been tested hard and help up great.

You could buy an Engo 9000 w/ synthetic line and some rock sliders and still not have as much money in those as a Warn winch.

And where ya been lately Matt? We went to Choccolocco without you.

I have a Smittybuilt XRC8 winch with synthetic line and it has worked flawlessly for me. I have pulled a full-sized Ford out of a deep mud hole without a complaint from the winch at all. Cost me about $425 brand new from Autoanything.com. They have sales all the time. I suggest going to their website and registering your email address, then go look at a couple of winches, and then leave the website. After a day or two they usually will send you coupons for the winches you looked out and you can save some money.

Work, work, and more work. I work 12 hrs a day 6 days a week now. Lol. Although the new schedule is giving me two days off and one of those days is a Saturday. So, let's get some meets together and go ride!

Towed this to the dealership the other day!

Have any of y'all had any experience with Metalmiller Truck Accessories?

    http://www.metalmiller.com/

They've got a pretty good looking front skid with TRD for the 1st gen. Probably will order, just wanted to get thoughts.

    Thanks!:oldglory:

I got my front skid from him and no issues, it now resides in Alabama on Jabstr8's 4runner after some small modifications. I also ordered two of the front grill emblems from him as well and again no complaints

Ha! They break down more than you think. That's a 2013 with 186k miles and the turbo is gone. They don't check the oil enough in that truck. Several times k have gotten in the dodge and it's been dry. Lol we have several tow trucks down at the moment
