    got ya. yeah thats what im trying to plan now.. getting close to being done with this wiring diagram. I will have everything ran through my Blue Sea fuse block, so the only thing that will be tied into my factory electrical is the RGB controller.. partially.. so that i can run the halos as my DTRL like they are currently. I will be taping into the power of the factory running light harness.

    Yeah, but how are you going to tap into that and use anytime power? Using a relay? Or I guess that works if you have seperate wires for the headlights and grille and then separate for others

    I then have an idea to cut the lens..If you look at the pics above and see all those little up ridges, I may cut/shave all those down with a dremel to let more light through. This would be one annoying task, but would get results

    I have to wait for my better remote and control box..Just realized I've been testing with the one that came with the LEDs and its max output is only 6 amps..

    I'm now going to do this to all the shroud/lenses. Only on the two outer facing sides though(this is one of the end for reciprocals.)

    And its not really as bright as it looks. Phone camera always makes things look brighter somewhat, but I'll see how it is on truck. Just experimenting with options now

    Nice! I like your thinking! I'm on the fence with both actually... I like the subtleness of the first method.. but like the brighter light and the "design" of the bored out one..

    I'm still concerned about light output of the actual LED bar tho.. and if it will be affected.. as my biggest thing is still wanting to use the bar to its full potential.. since that's why I got it in the first place. In theory.. as long as you aren't messing with the optics/reflectors, it should be an issue.. so as long as that's ok.. I'm still so doin this. I honestly might just go the easy route tho.. Ans do waterproof ones on the outside of the housing.. not sure yet..

    I changed up my idea somewhat too.. and ill be doing this to several D2's on the front and rear of the truck as well. So they all match.

    D2s on the front and rear? And yeah, sanding down around the edges shouldn't affect the lightbars capability to use as an offroad light. It would be easier to just run some black strip rgb LEDs around the edge

    yep. wanted them as dust lights front and rear, plus another set in the rear for reverse/work lights. so I'll be doing this same thing for those.

    I was thinking it might be enough reflection off the lens and chrome inside the housings to work if i do it from the outside.

    By d2s you mean? Rigid dually type cube LEDs? And you meant put the strip of LEDs under the lens?
