    Oh boy...

Take it to a motor shop. Have them deck the head and block. They will clean it better then you can. Make sure you know how much they take off total so you know how thick of a MHG to get.

Also get lots of brake clean...lots. Best shit to clean anything with.

Also the kit you posted has Pistons that at .020 over stock so you'll have to get it bored and honed. Buy the Pistons and rods first so the machine shop knows which hone to do.

If you don't do oversized Pistons then just have them hone it to just clean the cylinders.

Would HAVE to but def would want to

Jon, might be worth the read: http://www.customtacos.com/forum/13...all-starting-w-head-studs-rock-crawler-7.html All stock internals with head studs.

Also lots of ppl notice power loss at 4k+ with these motors under boost. Check out the LCE stage 1 cams; not too crazy but boosts your mid range power a bit. Also consider an electric cutoff of for your exhaust so you dont lose low end torque from transitioning to a 2.5"/3.0" exhaust.

True..haha except you can't find that crap anywhere

And a mild cam wouldn't be bad.

Haha Jon's going..okay..okay..sure..okay..MY GOD THIS IS PRICY! Lol

Electric cut out would be nice just to have it dumped at the down pipe for loud go time and then close the cut out to a small muffler so it's not too loud for other stuff.

Not quite sure how your turbo setup is going to be, but will it work with your exhaust system with the magnaflow?

Why don't you supercharge and turbo it?

Way to complicated. Have to have a way to by pass the supercharge Once the turbo kicks in

The only one I'd add connectors to is the crossmember that sits above the engine connected at the suspension mounting point.

Always make it with the cross brass removable. Never no if you'll need to pull the motor

Local shop here said they could deck the block and head, and fit the rods/pistons for about $300. Sounds reasonable? :notsure:

That sounds a bit low. Decking a block isnt hard but tolerances need to be exact. If the shop isnt OCD and takes their time to do it right, its very easy to screw up your entire engine build. Just ask torspd.

This isnt something that I would go with the lowest bidder on :notsure:

Sounds a bit cheap imo but it is only a 4 cyl and that might be the fall price, ie cheaper than summer pricing. :notsure:
