I recommend that you find the guy, take pics of him playing golf and blackmail him until he's living in a tent.

Shouldn't he be going after your insurance company at the time of the accident?

For future reference, always take pictures.

What a shit show. I'd hire a private investigator to follow him around, I'd bet money he's full of shit and does what he wants, and now he wants you to pay for his next few mortgage payments.

2002 Regular cab base A/C fixed now.
Westin lights, Westin Light bar holder, New front bumper, Custom floor matts, Steering wheel cover, board in bed to keep groceries from rolling around, new radio, New flat bed cover.
Here is the deal. If the cars have not been fixed just show them the damage the eyes dont lie. If the cars are not damaged enough people wont think it was at a high speed.

Like I said before - this is why you have insurance. Call the insurance company that insured the car that was involved in the crash at the time of the crash and tell them you've received a subpoena related to the crash.

They have lawyers just for stuff like this.

Use their lawyers. Let them handle it. Sleep at night.

While that's tempting - it's a bad idea and can be considered attempting to intimidate someone who has brought suit against you - which is criminally illegal.

Really? Isn't the point of a private investigator to be unnoticed and far removed from his target as to not disrupt their normal routine, but just close enough to make an accurate portrait of their capabilities and their activities?

Disability claims get investigated all the time, they used to park outside of my neighbors house all day. That's legal? I don't get it.

The insurance company I had at the time denied the claim. And I did take pictures, But it was more than 3 years ago, I've had 4 phones since then. The shitty thing is I had pictures of it right up until my last phone switch, I lost everything I had on it. Damn swimming pools.
    Trust me it is.
My old insurance company wouldn't insure me because I had an at fault accident within my first 3 years of driving. Now they're denying his claim.

    P.S.
The statute of limitations or whatever states the appeal has to be put in within 3 years of the original claim, 2 years 364 days later the appeal is put in.
