A Canuck is another name for a Canadian, and our board is slowly being invaded by them! :)

You are sensitive yet a funny Yankee. When we get to know you better, we'll call you worse names:eek: . You'll have to be patient till then.

PS. We sure can use a few more Yankee's with a sense of humor. ;)

This is the first time in my life that I have been called a yankee. I have lived in Alabama since 63. Yankee huh. Here, we still say mam when we open the door for a lady, and it is still a two syllable word ! And yes, I did have buttered grits for breakfast, with lots of black pepper and some venison on the side. Life is good, and I am a blessed man ! Jim

I do hope you folks reading my reply realize that I was being somewhat humerous, and poking a little fun at the "southern stereotype". I have lived in the South all of my life, and we have always considered yankees to be the folks that lived north of here but south of Canada. We still love them, of course ! And, I really did have grits and venison for breakfast. It sounded good at the time. I do look forward to bantering with you folks in the future, and thanks in advance for the future knowledge that you will most certainly share with me as I tweak my truck.

    Jim

We Canadians have a great sense of humor. We can take them and also dish them out. Whether you are an American, Yankee or Canadian, we are all Tacomaians (not sure if that sounds or spells right. Needs some work I think). All in all, very unique group I say.

    eh?

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
Welcome cwagly, from a real yankee, sorry Jim Mann. !! Never did like the grits idea during my visits down south but different strokes for all. However, I will second your thoughts on opening doors for lady's and the correct use of "Sir and Mam" very little of that being done up here in New England.
Politeness is pretty much a thing of the past up here until you get into rural towns fo less that 5000 people. jeff

I have lived in Florida twice, and go there on vacations. We still look at Florida as being part of the North ! Not sure what a native Floridian would look like LOL. What part of Florida are you in ? Jim
