I could save lots of money by bringing lunch to work. Instead, I go get lunch every single day.

I don't want to think about the money I could save because the day I decide it's too expensive to go out and buy a turkey melt with a solid half pound of turkey on it is the day I may start to question whether life is worth living.

I always get lunch from the delis at a few local mom-n-pop general stores. I support someone local that way, and although it is more expensive they make fantastic sandwiches, burgers, salads, chili, clam chowder, etc. Much better and healthier than I'd get if I went to McDonald's or somewhere like that. At this point all the owners and workers know me by name. Something very small town New England about that, I think.

Brought the wife's 4runner in for an oil change, time for new rear brakes according to the multipoint. Looking around online westboro toyota has the same prices as camelback and they are local to me. Can't really beat that...

Can't beat that at all. I just did the brakes on my wife's car last weekend. I bought Centric rotors off Rock Auto. We'll see how they hold up!

I would think if they are bedded properly they should do just fine.

One of the nice things about the 5th gen.t4r: rear disc brakes

Rear pads from Westborough are.$42. About the same as the vatozone premium ones. That will likely turn into next weekends project

That's not bad for pads, like you said, right there with Autozone.

I replaced her pads a few months back. It was an emergency job, they started making noise on a Friday, checked them on Saturday and they were metel to metal. Just catching up with the rotors.

My lunch consisted of a snall personal pan pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni and a coke. $16.50. $20 with tip. That's way too much.

I just did Rachel's front brakes and it was $80 total w/Raybestos ceramic pads and Centric Rotors. All bought locally.

Where do you get Centric locally? I didn't even look to be honest, I'm busier than hell at work so having the parts delivered is awesome.

Got them at Colonial Auto Parts in Plainville. I couldn't wait 2 days for parts to be delivered. Found out they sell Deka batterries as well. Might be picking one up in the next week or 2. :)

I bought ThermQuiet Ceramic pads. The original rotors still looked good. All is well.

My girl usually makes my lunch. She makes some pretty good sandwiches.

I tore into the rear brakes of my daughters malibu last night cause it was making alot of clicking noises. Everything is brand new (they must have seen my mother coming) so I just cleaned them and lubed the contact points. Finally a win
