30 and younger thread

Any of you guys know someone that suffers from depression? Serious question and dont just say "what do you have to be depressed about you have a tacoma"

 

I used to. But it wasnt anything i could have ever helped with. They just had to work through things themselves. Havent talked in years

I always found it easier to channel emotions and stress through the gym. A good workout has plenty of positive outcomes.

I go to the gym every day but I can only go for so long..

i dont know what its about but just want to tell you it all gets better. I learned that after a while. Everything really isnt as bad as you once thought and things start going great. It just takes time. And sometimes tou might just need a break from life. I had to take a two months away from school/work/college town to figure out things arent that bad.

Just keep your head up.

 

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I know it all works out in the end but its hard to see that in the moment. I'm usually a very positive and outgoing person just these past couple weeks have really fucked with my head.

I'm in that boat too. I get normal ups and downs but every once in a while I'll get into a whole and sit there for a little bit for some reason. I do my best to get out it.

Shit man you are right about the age it hit me. If you like to read I'd recommend The Four Agreements, it definitely help me get a kick start on beating the depression. It's an animal man but it can be tamed.

 

I have tattooed in large letters across my shoulder blades "Dum Spiro Spero". It's Latin for "While I breathe, I hope". It reminds me that every day I wake up, am able to breathe, and stand on my own two feet is a good day and I have the ability to make that day what I want it to be. I'm alive, loved, and healthy.

We all have bad days/weeks/months. Just keep your head up and remember that every day you're alive is a day of opportunities.

 

I have "Semper Procrastinus" carved into a board and mounted over the door to my workshop in the garage, lol.
Mostly just a joke about how it seems like the "to do" list never gets any smaller.
