If he had a vertical grip on a pistol (not an SBR) then yea, he's in trouble. As far as my pistol goes, the Sig Brace has been approved by the ATF as a brace and not a stock. They have also ruled that shouldering the brace does not make it a stock and it is perfectly legal to fire from the shoulder.

You can easily get spikes lowers for less than $100, and a couple bucks to do your own color fill

Slikes lowers go for $130 to $140 in Hawaii :(

I've done some color films on my Gluck and shotguns. White always comes out nice, but most of my other colors come out aweful.

Do any of y'all do three gun?

If so, are any of you all shooting in the three gun match in beckley, wv tomorrow?

I'm going to it and have never been in any type of match, be it 3 gun or something else.

Oh, and any advice for me?

I haven't. Most I've done is a few pin shoots. I'd like to start doing some IDPA stuff.

My advice, try to hit the targets. Seems to work for the pro's.

I'm with a guy that is rather good....and fast. Im using my own gear and borrowing some. Basically borrowing all the shotgun gear I think, but the AR and pistol are mine.

Try to stay calm. It's easy to get winded or excited/anxious/etc all of which will lower your accuracy. Concentrate more on your aim than your time.

    This.

You know what speed you can shoot well at.

If you try to go faster, you'll be less accurate, which will piss you off, which will make you not want to compete again.

Move at your own pace. This is your first time out, you're going to be slower than the shooters who have done it before. If you enjoy it, keep at it and you'll eventually get faster.
