Just installed these tie downs on my bed rails!

 

I had same problem with blinker issue too. But after blowing 3 fuses I have them installed "correctly" I guess. When I bought them they said they would work with our "CK" plugs but apparently it doesn't.

I ordered new ones this morning that specifically say 3157CK for tails/brakes. I hope they work

 

There is a TSB on that and it isn't what you replaced. They say they use some small pins to align the bars to the seat mounting pieces and it is those pins rubbing causing the creaking/squeaking. I think you just remove them and the noise goes away. For some odd reason my seat creaking like that doesn't bother me. I know it isn't something that is fixing to break on me. I might be totally wrong in your case, but it wouldn't hurt to look up the TSB on it.

Good luck! I have a good friend that does my electrical and he knows what he's doing, so that gives me a little assurance. Hell...if he can keep an F-22 Raptor flying...I should be in good hands...

 

What I replaced was the front sway bar bushings, are you talking about the seats inside the truck?

Also the new bushings seemed to help some but there is still a bit of a squeak/creak when I turn the truck sharp or am turning going over bumps. Anyone have any ideas?

Added some LED Interior lights, so much better then those ugly yellow ones.

 

Thanks Cmurder....the struts, new coil springs and rear shocks really give it a more compliant "feel"!

Probably almost anyone with an idea will say remove the sway bar=problem solved. I removed mine for articulation plus I like the lean on corners, if you don't haul ass around them Id say remove it for the better suspension movement alone
