    :eek::eek: good god!! Glad they ok, must have been one hell of a ride though. looks like it hit a tree or pole of some kind at some point if you look at what would be the roof line.

    a few LEO i know have said that people walk around with no injuries after crashes you expect no one to live thru and some times in small crashes you expect everyone to be 100% ok and maybe not even have a scratch will be air lifted away or being rushed to ER in an ambulance.

    ... This is my sister's truck, 96 Ranger. She just bought it TWO days ago from a mechanic. I was at work, on a roof, when she called me, crying. She was driving to school (TCC) when the whole wheel just came off and shot off down the street. It stripped the studs and of course damaged the whole brake assembly when it came down on it. So I left the job site and went to where she was stranded. I got everything back enough as far as I could do that we could roll it off the main road, just into the little neighborhood there. Took her to school and went back to work. Called up my buddy with a car hauler when I got home, and went and picked it up.
    The truck had just been inspected today, so my guess is that the inspector did not tighten the lug nuts when he took the wheel off to inspect the brakes. I'm going up there to have a word with him tomorrow. He just best be grateful that my big sister didn't die or get hurt, or he'd be dealing with a lot more than me and my angry words.
