Update! Wife said we could as long as I find a way to keep us all warm in the tent. Been looking at the black cat tent heater but can't find any locally.

Also is anyone else bringing a pet? I know Tillis does not allow pets, but holder mine does as long as they are on a leash. Anyone else going to stay at holder mine camp ground??

The best thing for me and my son, a quality heated blanket. Ours keeps us toasty warm all night. There are times I even have to take it off. But for him it's perfect.

Thats sounds good we have one of those already, only thing is when you get up to get dressed, it will most likely be cold as shit getting out of under that blanket.

+1 for heating blanket. Much safer than a heater blowing in the tent imo. Just bring a 30' extension cord to plug into one of the outlets and you're good to go.

Two tings...eins: you have plenty of time to order the heater ya want online. The meet is still 3.5 months away. ;) Swei: It bears mentioning that if you plan to stay at Holder Mine, dirtymike won't have to make a reservation for you at Tillis Hill, so in the event you add yourself to the list, you should make a note of that.

last year i picked up a small space heater for like 20 bucs at wall mart. I put it on a couple of thin pavers that I had. Worked out great!! it was about 80 degrees in the tent dude. It also had a tip over shut off feature but it stayed up and toasty all night.
