    Finally upgraded the Taco with Bushwacker Fender Flares. Parts $502, Paint job $500 color-keyed, DIY installation. Total investment $1,000 + 4 hour install.

    I've ripped mine off, and reinstalled all clips and even the rubber cushions with new ones in maybe 2hrs.

    Why are the Wacker's so tough?

    Ahhh yes, good point. I just had mine sprayed with bedliner so they are damn near bulletproof. I'd be very careful with these painted ones.

    They are not the same as stock - they stick out about 1 1/4" further. In some states it is required to pass inspection if your tires stick out past the fender wells.
