I moved op centers to Panamas (usually 12s) everywhere I went from my first Supt job in 1995 'til I retired in 2009. Always seemed it kept people happy and was the fairest to all with regards to weekend time off. Never understood why people had a problem with them when you're talking about a 24/7 shop. I took a little heat every once in a while, but my people were happy ... I call it the productivity of morale; when I had to ask them to go above and beyond the normal, they always would without complaining. Bucking the system every once in a while may also be why I retired at MSgt. :notsure:

    Doing good.

At least you just had to do the cleaning and will be asleep when the "dog and pony" show goes down. ;)

12's make a bunch of sense for a 24/7 shop. My company does 3 shifts of 8 hrs + 1 unpaid lunch hour which gives an hour overlap at each end of each shift. I really don't like it though and would much rather do a 3 on 4 off 4 on 3 off schedule of 12's like the networking and system administrators have.

Tonight is epically slow but it's a good thing. I barely got any sleep yesterday. Oh well!

It's hard to come home and do any chores. Especially with it closing in on hunting season.
I need to get some mowing done and back to work on pouting shack.
    College ball also.
