    Horror of horrors!

I found some grease on my driver's side, outside cv boot!

    Should I replace the boot?

Should I somehow pack it full of more grease?

Should I burn the whole damn truck and collect the insurance?

    Seriously, what's the SOP?

Many, many moons ago I had a dodge omni GLH **quick trivia - Carol Shelby developed those POS and badged them GLH for "Goes Like Hell"** that had bad cv joints that clicked. Well they clicked for many thousands of miles until the rest of the car fell apart and nothing bad ever happened. Is this like that or what?

The passenger side boot is bone dry BTW

Toyota makes a boot kit, comes with replacement boots, grease and new clamps. Some guys just opt to replace the entire axle with new. The boot job is easy just messy!

Call the dealer. CV boots should last longer than 2 years. It should be fixed for free.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
My friends brother owns a GLHS with 12 miles on it. He's still waiting for it to be worth anything.
