Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

You guys that have put in a blue sea fuse box: mind giving me a parts list for what all you used? Already got the box and breaker.

 

bolts to hold it to the plate, bolts that fit in the holes in the fender (?m10x1.25, but double check?) and the plate to put it on.

 

I would be checking the seal around the windshield. Most causes of unexplained issues are normally where somebody has done work before.

 

Its a tough look. The seal appears to be good... and when we ran a hose on the roof of the truck, nothing came in. I gotta get this gigured out before it starts freezing up here!

 

We'll I finally figured out the CB I put in my truck. Was having issues with the swr over 3.0. Bought a 18' cable and fixed the ground. Now it's money. Got the SWR down low to 1.0 with a high of 1.2. Not too bad for a hood mounted antenna.

 

thanks Matt. Between work and rain, I haven't gotten out to mess with it too much. The bearing or alternator just started yesterday. Can't be trashing my work dress shirts.

WOW! Not a quick jaunt, that's for sure! I bet if I did it, I'd find what was making the noise!!!

 

It was/IS the alternator. As I was backing into my parking spot (I'm working a maintenance shift from 6PM - 1AM) this eve, my radio turned off and battery light came on. I looked up at my scan guage and saw 8.0 volts! I turned on my grill lights and the truck stalled. I turned everything off and it started, but voltage didn't get over 8V. Looks like I'll need a ride home tonight!!!

 

Damn. I had that happen on the way home. Turned out the belt slipped off. I had to coast into my driveway

 

God it is cold outside... need to get motivated.

Alright.... wife wants a game system as she is addicted to first person shooter arcade games. Also wants something that our son can use for some educational games. The last game system I had was a playstation 1.... So what system is best for first person shooter and games like mario kart? She insists on getting a game system that the controller is a gun.

For what you are looking for out of a system, you should do a computer, but a custom build computer is very $$$. I would go with something easy, either go Xbox one or ps4 gaming quality is about the same just need to look at the options of each one and see which one you would prefer. Its a personal choice. I personally like Xbox, but the decision is yours by friend... or get a Nintendo Wii(controller you want as a gun), but that is an older system.

 

Xbox 1 or ps4. Excellent new game for her to play is destiny. Best game I have ever played

 

Looks like its between the PS3/4 and the Wii. My son is really into the cabelas hunting games.

 

Love my Xbox one..also have an xbox, xbox 360, Nintendo, super nintendo, nintendo 64, ps1, ps2, ps3, atari, wii...i never sell a game system or games and they all still work and I randomly play them...xbox one is hands down the baddest mother f'r I have...i was a HUGE Playstation fan until I started messing with xbox world..I'm a gamer...like all systems. ....recommend xbox one

played 360 constantly until I had a self intervention one night after almost breaking it after playing call of duty

destiny is awesome, really tempting me to go buy one again.
