Am I the only one here that gets bored enough...

to make a list about my upcoming mods? Idk why but I've done this kinda stuff with every vehicle I've modded. Guess this is just what happens when I get bored enough.

 

Nope Back when I was building my chevelle I had a very similar list. I find it helps me keep my priorities straight. Rather than spending money on something now and then realizing that this should have come first. Saves tons of money for me. I just lightly mod my truck so its not too big a deal with this one.

 

I would love my list to be that short

I only have a few items left to do on mine (aside from crazy stuff like RTT), but money ran out so they are for next year.

 

I've got the same thing going with my components...makes it tons easier to actually see what you have bought and how much it costs.

 

i've got a list going with pictures and prices from all the different websites

 

I don't do it for one reason: I don't want to really know how much I will spend/spent on it.

 

I do, but mine's not fancy. It's on a sticky note

 

If my girl ever seen a list like that she would kill me. I do stuff usually out of the blue

 

I just choke my chicken when I get bored...it's a lot cheaper!

Seriously, I make lists as well, just not as fancy as the computerized lists some of you guys have.

When I got my BMW I farkled the hell out of it before I realized that I probably had a little internet consumption addiction...it's too easy to hit the button and lo and behold something new shows up in the mail ready for installation.

The BMW experience has tempered my spending and made me a better budgeter. Keep an eye on your credit card debt, boys!!!

 

i do the same thing, but i'll add the web link next to each item so i can quickly pull up the webpage then i look a pics and

I do it for all of my mods just to make sure I have enough cash to see them all the way through before I get started.

I've also got a spreadsheet of upcoming mods with links to sites and threads on how to do them.

All in Google Docs so I can easily access the info at work or at home.

 

That's really cool.

 

Thats why I'm lucky. My girlfriend loves the whole 4wd scene! We agreed I need to go ahead and finish my list before I get THE RING.

 

I've had my list since day 1. It's very handy to see what you paid for an item when it comes to time to sell it and when you installed it. I think I'm well over $10K in mods and counting. Yike!
