Haha! I'm glad you did buy it! Everything happens for a reason. I think I'm just a 4runner gal for life. But Aaron and I are excited to see what happens to that truck. It's very nice!

 

This. I've done it before. If you know your vehicle well enough, you'll be fine. As long as it's not wired up like a Cadillac, otherwise the truck won't even start.

 

Well, maybe I need to look into getting OBDII device and Torque. Then I can display that info.

Yep was close to getting a 4runner but for what I like to do a truck just fits my needs better.

Right now the plan is 5100s all around probably 880 coils, Dakar leafs in the backs. Then front bumper and sliders then rear bumper. After college I want to buy another dd and make this truck a project probably an expo/ camping truck. So 33's or 35's M/T and we'll see where it ends up!

 

Very cool! Yeah eventually I think I want a gas saving dd and make my truck a toy more of. But yes that's after college for me too haha

 

Someone in the az classifieds was selling 5100's recently. Not sure if it was for all 4 though.

 

My Cadillac wouldn't even attempt to turn over when I blew the fuse that lit up the dash. I can image the cluster missing would be the same result. Even something as simple as the radio had a 30pin harness on it.

 

Do you own a cell phone?

Top off gas every few days. You aren't driving cross country.

Use the phone's gps to show you speed and stuff. Or just go with traffic...

I've driven for weeks without my gauge cluster.

 

On Android, GPS Test is a good free app. I'm glad my Taco is nothing like my Caddy was. I only drove around for a few days without the cluster. The only interior I had during that time was a drivers seat, a steering wheel, and the shifter.

 

Yep I've done that before too. Drivers seat, no carpet, no arm rest.... Nothing. Steering wheel and shifter

 

Having no arm rests sucks.

Halving someone look at the truck today. If they don't want it it is getting listed. Its ready to show and looking better then ever. Took a ton of work yesterday and today
