I still have the passenger side. I cut the drivers side to see what they would look like but I didn't like it. I'm gonna cut the tabs and paint them to match. there is a thread on it somewhere. it seems pretty easy and I like how it looks.

Added a few more things to the truck :) lots of storage and what not with the help of some friends. Thanks to everyone who helped out or let me use some tools or shop space. Big thanks to Allen for all the help.

I pulled out the rear seats of the access can and decided to build a box. I used 1-1/4" angle steel and 3/4 inch plywood. That box is sturdy as hell and ain't going anywhere. I'm almost done carpeting the whole thing. Red has approved of this.

I used buckles for trap doors in the side. I think it worked out pretty nicely.
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413569167.622100.jpg

I also decided to build a platform in the bed that was level with the wheel wells for storage underneath and sleeping up top.

Went to the Grand Canyon this weekend. Had a lot of fun with the girlfriend and pup. But more importantly tested out the bed and storage system I've been working on. It went really well. I think with a little more padding in the back it would've been perfect. Also need to make the hinge doors for the bed. Kind of a pain in the ass sliding everything in the bed and even worse when your trying to get anything out.

Here are some pictures from the trip.

Do you need to add a suspension system to that just to counter the constant back and forth motion? Perhaps resis are in order.
