Honestly, we don't send any of the girls we work with down here for a reason. Pretty good chance they'd end up in someone's basement. Not too many ladies where this project is, and the ones there are I wouldn't exactly describe as feminine

Think I'll stick with a mug of coffee, thanks.

Decided this weekend that I hate every single local parts store with a passion. Apparently nobody carries an assortment of leaf spring U-bolts any more.
The company that I ordered the front leaves for the Dodge from shipped me the wrong U-bolts. I of course didn't discover this until I'd already ground the old ones off and gotten the new leaves in place. I figured "no problem, I'll just run down to the local parts shop and pick up the right ones", but I was shocked to discover that the local parts shops had all rotated their U-bolts out of stock years ago.

So now I'm stuck waiting for the spring supplier to ship me the right set (which they're doing at no charge, but it means that I couldn't finish the truck this weekend like I'd hoped)

My local AutoZone stocks a few, but mostly for full size trucks.

lol. The Dodge probably counts as full-size.
When I worked at a parts store we kept the popular stuff in stock (Dana 44's, 60's, Ford 9", Dana 35's, etc.). Now it's all "special order" and they've tossed the reference books so you can't look up what you need to order.

Good morning people. I am relatively new to this site. As this is the New England section I was hoping someone could help me find a reputable installer of aftermarket suspension.
I'm trying to get in on the Icon group buy, hoping that gets the mod bug moving.
Seeing as how I don't have a garage(I work on my motorcycle on the street) and don't own a spring compressor, I would need someone to install a lift kit for me… I'm in the Boston area. I'm pouring through stickis at this point…
Here's a pic, bone stock still

Don't let Alex volunteer to help you out; he thinks a spring compressor looks like this:

Sold El Snowblowero on Friday afternoon; guy asked me the lowest I'd go was (I told him to make me an offer), he hemmed & hawed and finally paid my asking price rather than haggle.

I'm willing to install for you. Don't let Noel fool you, he's an inbred Maineack. I'll give you a good deal!

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I took a week of leave just to get stuff done at home... It's crazy.

I did the wifes Subie week before last. All new rotors and pads, under $200. Stoptech street performance package.

    Dumbass kids.
