Hi John, glad your back even if only temporarily...Charlie has been through a lot but he is a tough old guy and will come through. My prayers and thoughts going out daily for him and his wife. Thanks to you and Paul for the updates.

That switch looks like the same design, and $4 cheaper. Glad you got it worked out. You got a lot done yesterday.

John: THX for the update. Have to agree on a mechanics life. That is why I know what I can and cannot do on a vehicle. Some things are best left for a shop to do. The shop I use stands behind their work and the turn around on repairs is usually same day.

 

The folks at rallylights.com are pretty good with pricing, and they're very accommodating. They have a guy who knows how to wire darned near anything. And they're local to me. The wiring guy basically said, "come on back if you have any trouble whatsoever", which fortunately I did not. Some Japanese vehicles switch ground to the headlights instead of 12V, so it makes things interesting sometimes.

I just finished putting the grille back on and it did not fit the way I planned on it fitting. I had to move the lights quite a bit to get the grille back on. I'll have to go out and re-aim them tonight. Hopefully before the rain...

 

Well we dodged the hurricane again. Thanks to all who shared their concern.

Had a lot of rain, but it was actually really nice, seems to have cleaned up the air. I even got in a round of golf on Sat. before the rain started. Played like crap, but that's another story.
