    Based on sheer numbers. There or more urbanized areas in the North compared to the South.

    In your area, Western mountain states, that wouldn't surprise me. But as for the North as a whole compared to the South, that's a different story.

    i am very aware of the country folk. but if they are true red necks they wouldnt be buying toyotas anyway right? they would be in the ford chevy and dodge group. thus removing them from the pre runner demographic.

    Okay, let me state that I'm talking about all trucks. Not just Tacomas....

    Yes, sadly many people in the South still consider anything that isn't GM, Ford, or Dodge to be "Jap crap". So yes it wouldn't surprise me if there were more prerunner Tacomas than 4wd Tacomas.

    With that being said, I have no doubt that there are more 4wd TRUCKS than 2wd TRUCKS.

    so by what you just said....is that there are more pre runner toyotas than 4x4s...and we are talking strictly about toyotas...so we can ommit the other "TRUCKS" from this discussion. and based on what you just said my initial assumption was correct...not only because he did have a pre runner but also because you just said there are more pre runners than 4x4 tacomas.
