    Man that was frustrating to watch because I was going for Edmonton but they had so much trouble leaving their zone ...it was painful !

    That shot on net in the third when Scrivens was down and it hit a Tampa player skating thru the crease was an act of god. It hit his blade and just shot straight out like a slap shot.

    Sidenote: Still getting center ice for free on directv in socal ! One channel had the Edmonton feed, while another had the Tampa feed.. pretty cool !

    I wasn't able to catch the game - only saw the highlights. But it looked liked they finally had a rare night, where all the lucky breaks actually went their way. Good teams make their own luck - and the Oilers rarely cash in on luck.

    I just hope they carry a tiny bit of confidence into the week ahead. I'm going to the game on Friday, against the Canes. My brother and I are friends with Jiri Tlusty, and he offered us some tickets. So I hope the Oilers win 5 to 4 in OT......with Jiri getting a hat trick. lol
