You don't need a spring compressor if your swapping in icons. FYI

Blown yellow fog light bulbs set #3 today. These ones lasted me a solid 4 months.

I'm so done with this. I love how they look, but I blew my Nokyas H11s in 11 months, my first set of Optilux H11s in 5 months, the second set was in 5 months when I swapped the ARB on and these Optilux H3s lasted me 4 months. I know that colored bulbs have a reputation of blowing more regularly than regular bulbs, but this is getting ridiculous.

I'm going with basic Walmart Sylvania H3s this time and buying some Lamin-X film. I looked at PIAA but those didn't have a much better reputation. OSRAM all-season or Narva selective yellows looked appealing, but for the price, I was hoping for more yellow. I have the Dupliclor Metalcast yellow, but I'm reluctant to paint these this year. My original plan was to remove the lenses and paint the reflector but the units feel much more fragile than when I did the head lamps, so I'm leaving them be for now. The housing isn't designed to fit an HID capsule if I wanted to go with the 3500K bulbs.

What is so dumb is how ARB designed their in-bumper fog lams. The spade connector of the H3 is outside of the weatherstripping (the wire actually runs through it). You have to cut off the spade connector and crimp a new one on. So ridiculous.

Putcos last much longer than Nokyas that's why I'm running them.

I've seen their name before. They might have to be my next bulb purchase down the road. At this point though, I'm so over spending any cash on yellow bulbs. I know I'll feel different down the road.

On a fun side note, my ears have finally stopped ringing from the Jimmy Eat World show on Saturday night. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I used to be able to go to shows without my ears ringing. Does that mean my hearing is better or worse than it was?

"I was also thinking about trying another place I see all the time in North Smithfield. I will let you know where it is in the wheeling trip plan thread
EDIT: I just looked on Google maps for the above place, and it is way to short for a trail ride. [IMG] "

Too bad I live about 7-8 miles away from there

I've been using the Nokia H11's since I bought the truck new over 6 years ago. I'm on the second set. The bulbs are outlasting the wiring on my truck.

I think my kids have damaged my hearing more than the metal concerts I've been to.

    Are they high-pitched screamers?
My honorary nephew does that when he gets pissed, and it's painful.
