    Had front and rear. both where quiet no mater where the switch was. if you have a whining noise coming from your diff it's either bearings or a bad set up. remember pitting can hid on the inner race under the cage and rollers of the bearing.

    Was looking at the yz125's and they are taller than a CRF450F! 38-39" seat height depending on the year. We have been looking for something 34" or less and we can cut the seat down and add a lowering link if needed from there. I think her ideal seat height is 30-32". She wants something she can straddle with both feet touching or she won't ride it...

    OK so like 250 or 450 would be fine for you.

    I would either go with Honda or yamaha.




    Btw i am going to glamis yo... SO you need to make a trip with week and hang out with some tw people. :D

    Yeah pretty sure that if I get a bike I will get a 450. That way it won't struggle if I take it out to the dunes.

    Would be fun to go see, but fuck that drive. haha. Especially when I have amazing dunes less than an hour from me.

    Would be nice to go ride in some legit LT rigs though and see how I compare.

    Hey RC, you get any noise from your rear end at all with your locker?

    I have heard that may be the cause of my whine while driving.
    I also found a receipt for a rebuild of the differential due to the same noise, full warranty and everything but they said that is just the noise it makes.

    ARB lockers should be quiet no matter what. locked unlocked doesn't make a lick I've owned 3 of them, infact I will will install them on my tow rig I love them so much. as far as that noise goes well I could try and help you pinpoint it but lets do that in a pm.

    So its rainy out..gonna go play behind the school in the runner. See if the whine does anything different. I found 3 different receipts about the locker. The noise has been checked before and the ring and pinion gears and have been replaced twice. Still makes the noise. Might have to give Mikes offroad a call to see if they have any advice.

    I'll try to snap some pics if there is anything fun.

    Well that is what Im hoping. I mean if its been "fixed" 3 different times and the sound is just there, and I know it just got worked on about 4 months ago, then Im thinking it may just be a thing with them. Still waiting for confirmation. Im gonna call Mikes offroad tomorrow and ask his opinion as well.

    Also realized the exhaust on this sucker is way to low...scrapped it a couple times while playing today but she did great..had to put it in 4hi once to get up a steep little gully that just didnt have the power to get up and over.

    Hopefully an intake and exhaust will help this motor breathe a little better. mpgs suuuck

    I honestly dont know what else is in there that it could be. My technical knowledge of lockers is still limited.
