Ups says a package I ordered is out for delivery......but in a town about 30 minutes away. Well ok then.

Half of my packages are delivered from the town about 20 minutes away from me...

Distribution/sorting center probably. Things I order that are shipped via UPS say they're out for delivery in Sacramento, which is 25 minutes away.

 

Out of all the stuff I buy online, nothing has ever been sent to that center cause there is one maybe 8 minutes from my house everything goes to.

I've had problems with the seller since I won the auction so we will see what's in the box

 

My lady (Niki) might quit her job today. The head doctor and her husband are the owners. They've been unresponsive to multiple,ongoing requests from Niki and other doctors to reduce the number of patients they see each day to provide more time with each patient as well as time to prepare to see new patients and complete chart notes. The owners continue to increase the number of patients each doctor sees daily and are complaining that time used to prepare to meet with a new patient is eating into the time used to see current patients.

Niki has had enough and told me via text earlier today that she's had enough of being ignored, unappreciated, and overworked and is going to quit. I support her decision but I'm kind of freaking out. I can support us myself (just barely) and we only have a couple thousand in savings. We had to start all over financially two years ago when we moved to CA and both started new careers. If we were in a better place financially I wouldn't worry as much. We have $14k in available credit should we need it but I don't want to add debt stress to our lives.

Needed to vent, thanks for reading.

 

She said she's going to hold off on quitting until she finds something else. If things change in the meantime she'll stay. Otherwise, she's gone as soon as something else pops up. Gotta say I'm proud of her for making this decision to find something better.

 

She's pretty damn smart. She wouldn't have gotten where she is today (a doctor) if she wasn't

Hope she can hold it out. My gf has quit before having anything lined up and its the most frustrating thing to me. Then she bitches cause shes been at home all week doing nothing.

She's going to do the best she can. She decided she won't quit until she can find something else. Preliminary searches in the area have turned up nothing. She's only 1 of 5000 of her type of doctor in the US. So, jobs are few and far between. Our part of CA is one of the more active areas for her area of medicine. Hopefully something turns up soon.

She been putting up with the situation at her office for some time now; this isn't a new development. She and the other doctors have been trying to do something about it for a while. The owners just don't seem to care. They're more focused on the money they're making and not on the doctors who are making them that money.
