The desperate comment was in regards to his thought that if he doesn't text her back he will be forgotten. IMO a girl who forgets you and a girl who wants to be in a relationship with you are completely opposite people.

Look bro you have spent some time with her right. You seem to like her. Tell her that you like her and if she runs away screaming you messed up. But I bet you are hoping for a list about what to do. I would like that too. But the truth is, that ain't gonna work. No list will prepare you for every type of girl in the world. No training would help you either. Then, in that case, be yourself. Calling on the phone is an ancient ritual it seems in these days that too many people have forgotten. It makes a HUGE difference talking to someone on the phone versus texting. It shows you're confident, considerate, and not lazy. lol
