Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
There's one on CL. I'll have to search later for it.

I just got an email response from this guy, Doug, seems he's not very willing to travel at all to meet up either or I'd have bought it by now.

Hey does anyone know of someone selling an Undercover tonneau cover for a 2nd gen long bed? Might be a long stretch, but I'm looking for one used (if possible) since brand new ones are just under 1k.

I'm hoping to find a black flat top canopy for a short bed. Hopefully something that can hold the weight of a RTT.

Make sure it has the reenforced roof on it and still go as light as possible. Im (hopefully) picking up a Tepui Autana this weekend. 130lbs is my limit for a rtt, after you add me and someone else plus gear. If I were to do it again I would get a softtopper and a rack that can fit over that with a rtt on that

My SnugTop XTR has had no issues with my CVT Rainier RTT, even with 4gal of fuel and 2gal of water/storage on either side. I use 4 load bars to distribute the weight. I feel like people have a misconception of RTT's and canopies.

Thought you had a SnugTop rebel? Congrats on joining the XTR Club :D Im probably going to mount mine straight to the bars without any cross bars, at least I was told I can.

Sorry, I meant to say Xtra Vision.

I believe you can if you mount the tracks for the RTT on width wise vs the length wise like most people do. That would allow you to mount it to the rails that are on your canopy.

Yeah.. Valid points. I mainly want the canopy for my dog, and I think it'd look pretty cool. I'm not sure which direction to go to be honest. I was leaning towards a soft topper at first, but I don't want any issues

I too struggled with the soft-topper vs canopy debate. Ultimately went with ARE X-Series; better windows, better security, add the yak tracks and yer good to go for RTT. I mounted a frontrunner slimline tray to pull double duty for cargo or RTT. Plus lifetime warranty (when you buy new).

Here is the response I got from ARE when asked about weight capacity:

The weight rating on our Yakima Rack when driving the vehicle is set at 150 lbs due to various dynamic forces such as sudden stops, potholes, sharp turns etc. Additionally, you should always consult the vehicle manufacturer for center of gravity ratings. When the vehicle is not moving (for camping) the roof and rack can actually carry well over that amount. While this is not something we guarantee under warranty, our caps have been tested to hold well over 800 lbs when stationary.

    Thanks,

    Andy
