Yea, house poor is a new level man. You can look fwd to itemizing your taxes though and writing off the interest for awhile. This is the only real bonus monies you get for mods... To the house that is.

we just closed and moved into our new house this past Sept. It was crazy and hard and frustrating etc etc... So I get it about the financial situation. You should build a house next to me and be my neighbor. ;-)

My mortgage broker called me today and asked if I wanted to refinance and knock a point off my interest rate. It would drop my payment about 110 a month, So this is good news. The next part is if my house value keeps going up I may be able to remove my PMI which would lower my payment by another 300 a month. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel with a FHA loan and buying a home in Gilbert, AZ.

interest rates today should be around 3.875% and lower especially for 30 year fixed and FHA. so that should be a good deal.

This coming spring i want to do a trip to sheep bridge. Leave from North cave Creek and drive all the way down cross the Verde at sheep bridge then keep going south west and down around horseshoe Lake and back into cave Creek. Camp out fir one night on the Verde. It could be sweet

Nice. With the house I just bought with an FHA loan the PMI is what kills it.

I'm back to saving for the truck now though which is good news. Hoping to have a decent amount of money for the after thanksgiving sales everyone seems to do.
