It needs to be calibrated. I ran my tank dry twice, refilled and set the tank capacity. Then I refilled the next 10 times and calibrated each time and mine is dead on.

I also calibrated my speed/odometer several times during the fuel calibration. I want a Scan Gauge, but the Ultra Gauge hasn't given me a reason to doubt it.

I used my Fluke meter and a thermocouple to check the air intake temperature and Ultra Gauge temperature and both were within a tenth of each other.

It estimates gas used based on the traveled miles it gets from the ecu, and then uses all the calibrations you can put in to determine actual mpg iirc

I fried a Spec stage 2+. It was a good clutch for a while, but I guess it can't handle the extra strain from the SC, big tires, weight, etc. If it blows apart they will send me a new one for free, but I'm not putting another one in.

My topper has tinted windows as does my truck (from the factory). My topper is on 99% of the time. Looking back through all that glass doesn't really work when backing up. I'm always looking in the side mirrors and turning my own head to look out the back sides.

Unless I put aftermarket aux lights back there, the reverse lights don't really mean squat.

That said, I replaced the bulbs with those from superbrightled.com. It is an improvement. I notice it mostly in my side mirrors ironically. But most importantly the reverse lights are much brighter therefore giving a much better warning to other drivers. Which is key around here in parking lots because there are many idiots.

I'm at 186,000 miles on the original factory one.

I wheel it a bunch. Not huge rock crawling stuff but trails like MSV/CF and the likes.

+1 I have awesome feel with my MC clutch

I replaced mine with the one MC sells as well to make it easier on myself.

Their customer service may suck (though I've never had an issue) but the doesn't mean their products do.

Aux lights are really the way to go. I can see so much better with the blitzpros I installed and the best part about them is that they likely will never blind your average driver with the way I set them up.

If you are standing behind my truck this is all you see:

Hey, dudes. I have a 2000 PreRunner and I do about 80% city driving. Looking to research some suspension options that will soften the ride and keep the truck from shaking apart on these awful Atlanta streets. Any direction or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Squeaky,
Are you still running the 4.10's? If so, it won't really matter what brand of clutch you use, it's still going to slip and smoke. I've been through this before, it's all about your gears. Lower gears will allow full engagement of the clutch, meaning you aren't riding the pedal, and a more controlled crawl ratio to work with when rock crawling.
That being said, I'd really go back to stock and re-gear. A higher clamping force on an aftermarket clutch will do nothing if you can't fully engage the thing due to mismatched power/gear ratio's.

I'm regeared to the stock ratio and still smoked the shit out of mine. It was on a relatively easy part of the run too. Wasn't riding it, just crawling slowly.

Yeah, I smoked mine riding it. Which I have to because I am on stock gears. I'm aware the problem won't really be fixed until I get lower gearing, which isn't remotely an option until I'm done with school next December.

What do I need to do an Automatic swap besides turn in my man card? :D

4.30 and 33" tires puts you at pretty much the same ratio as 4.10 and 31".

Oh, now I'm following. You regeared to the overall stock ratio, not the pumpkin ratio. Thanks. :)

Reverse lights aren't really there to light the way. They are there to tell the world that you are backing that ass up.
