^^^ I really like that Bob. ^^^

Nice work on the flares too - I've got a few ideas for a new set I've been kicking around.
There's a full set of unmolested bushwhackers hiding in my storage shed. :spy:

still have some tire sticking out. hoping the tires stuff up in there nicely without further cutting.

    thanks guys. I'm diggin it!

prolly keep them black till I get around to wrapping the truck.

tire coverage in east coast laws kept pushing me toward a change.

Craig thanks. it was a nice touch to an already great looking front end. and yea they're not as clean as they could be but I'll leave that up to you if you get into that again. until then simple cut fenders will be my option till I go fiberglass.

So your local laws prohibit tires from poking out of the fender well? My rear tires stick out like 3". Haha the flares look good though. Are they wider then the stock ones? Is that why you got them to try and cover up the tire?

Not in Colorado. Or Wyoming. I know if there was Frankenstein would be so screwed. But Bob is going to be moving out east in the next year or so which will have those laws most likely.

    I like it Bob!

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
If you come to VA it's 4" past the fenders....

Idaho has a law against it, but doesn't really enforce it unless you are a dick to the cop. I've been running around with an HC rear bumper and no mud flaps for almost 2 years now without issue even though mudflaps are required by law.

Utah is pretty similar as well.

    Edit:
In fact just googled it and in Idaho it is 0". Your fenders must completely cover the width of your tires. Mud flaps must be within 10" of the ground or are not required if the bumper/body is within 10" of the ground.

Just browsing around it looks like Colorado State has no fender flare law or mud flap law, but a lot of people mentioned that certain counties and cities have their own laws. Boulder was mentioned several times, but I found no legit documentation of this. Just word of mouth on forums.

Colorado has crawlers rolling around as DD's. they only care if you can pass emissions mainly.

utah used to have fender laws but recent clauses changed that. basically a crawler clause. but they were still cool with it unless you were a douche.

but I would need to conform to eastern states at some point. that's where you see stricter vehicle restrictions.

You will have no issue conforming to East Coast standards...Lots of Dirty Fives on Tacos out here with no issues...We do get yelled at for lights alot though.

thanks man...i think i'll take some sand paper to them to match the rest of the paint though...they look too new :D

yea i was thinking about painting them blue til i saw them...if my truck wasn't already black and blue, it would be a different story...but it follows the scheme...

    :spy:

well in NH my truck is illegal in many ways... bumper height, suspension modification, frame height, light height, tires, flaps, fenders...

i hope to end up in VT where they are a bit more lenient...

but fender coverage, mud flaps, bumper height and lights seems to be a common issue... another reason why i love colorado and utah so much
