All fixed! Thanks for the heads up. I was helping another member out trying to find a cassette deck. LOL!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I have thought about doing the BHLM but I think I may just buy some already black headlights off of Ebay. I'll have my stock one's just incase I don't like them.

Thanks! If you are going to do it try out the Rustoleum textured paint for the base. The stuff really works good and it hasn't chipped in over a year.

Did you use the clear coat? If so what did you use it for if you wanted that flat texture?

That looks AWESOME! I want to do mine, but I'm afraid I'll mess it up or it'll eventually chip or look like sh*t. How's it holding up? Do you have those concerns?

It's holding up well, absolutely no chipping at all and I drive 20 miles a day on back roads.

The Rust-oleum Textured Paint is very durable. I also have my emblem grille and pinchwelds painted with this paint and again no chipping.

Same here but they wanted $100 at my local Line X shop...I did it myself and only costs me roughly $15 and it turned out about the same.

Looks real good. I always thought that should be black from factory. Nice job making it happen.

Couldn't you just use spray on bed liner and get the same result?

Very informative though, I knew that there was no way to take that grill/bumper thing off on my truck.

    Rust, lots of rust
Spray on bedliner works awesome, I've had it on my front valence for a year now and it's held up great.
