Found this place called little miss BBQ on university and there is a line out the door. People line up an hour before it opens and they are only open until it sells out. This must be some crazy good BBQ!!

Received a quote from SDHQ a few weeks back when I requested pricing and it stated $120 (est with tax, could be in the pennies more) for front and rear. The brake lines are a stainless steel braided line with a kevlar sheath overlay . . .

Jesus, don't get me started! I'm a couple decades ahead of you and keeping healthy, but insurance costs are way up and the coverage way down. Let's talk about anything else..... But you are smart to have a well funded Health Savings Account my friend!

Sheep's crossing is a dirt road and only the last 40 yards are rock and a pre runner can do it.
Bill, your truck can handle Elvis and beyond but I doubt you want the possible carnage. Regardless, sheeps crossing is a walk in the park. As for what happens after you cross the river, I don't know yet but Jason was ready to do it in his LT prerunner.

Planning for the future Bill! The boomers will drain medicare and I doubt I even get social security.

Anyone know of any good, semi-cheap (under $15k), 4wd trucks for sale? I know someone put their dad's truck in the classifieds section a while back but couldn't find it now.

Check water flows before hand. I did it last year unintentionally. Partial day trip for the whole thing. The crossing at Sheep's Bridge was really easy. Some of the crossings below the dam were a bit deeper and more swift.

My buddy was riding shotgun and "navigating". His navigation privileges have been revoked as we were shooting for Child's crossing, not Sheep's Bridge.

Those lines they do on tw suck. They don't have the same way to lock them in place. They work but you have to ghetto zip tie them in place

I have officially died and went to food heaven. The hour wait was worth every penny.

Little miss BBQ on university, just west of the 143.

pretty much. I took my 5 lug all the way down to the top of that last rocky section, didn't take it down that portion though.

Sounds like a few of you guys have done it. Is the back side fun? Do you think it would bea fid trip? As my truck sits now i definitely won't be doing the water crossing.

One of my upper ball joint boots just split. I think i should probably go ahead and replace all of them

No, not really. Just more dirt road that pretty much bee-lines due south. Crosses the big NE drainage into Horseshoe and loops around to the stuff near Bartlett. It was much shorter/quicker than to backtrack towards 7 springs.
