22k miles and 14 months old. I called my friend who's a service manager at my dealer and he said they should replace the valve cores, but shouldn't need to remove the TPMS monitors themselves, if they do then they should replace the seal for the monitor itself, but otherwise not needed. I'll likely spend the extra $16 since it's a miniscule amount and if nothing else it'll be something else I can use later if I need the shop to fix a problem with them, or if they leak.
