The hoverboard is just a proof of concept. There are big plans for the future with this technology. Just thought you guys might want to check it out

The only downside to this IMO is its just an advanced use of Magnets. So its only usable on metal. Not a true 'hoverboard' if we're applying Back to the Future concepts here, but It's a good start :D

Thought I'd update on those Hankooks I'm looking for. Bill Jr quoted me about $754 OTD with tax and everything else, Brody's (without name dropping for a cheaper price) was $796 and America's Tire in Santa Rosa was $664. With the $50 rebate from Hankook that's $614 OTD for 4 P265/75/R16 Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10, pretty good price! I looked them up and they rarely have negative reviews, Google and Yelp both are high rated, Yelp with 4.4/5 with 62 reviews.

Anybody know any good black friday truck deals that happened last year? I'm most likely gonna be ordering trail gear classic lift, gears and install kits, locker or lockers, and some other miscellaneous stuff for my 83 and waiting until after thanksgiving just in case there are some deals.

I always use Americas tire. I bought and sold trucks and swapped my wheels, they reprogrammed the TPMS for free. Before that I had bought tires from them, then bought new rims. Took the new wheels to them and they mounted the tires on the new wheels for $42. They take care of their customers. I'm running Hankook Dynapro ATMs and love them, 265/70/17.

I'll say it again, I love my hankooks and I'm sure a P rated would be even better. You won't regret them and that's a pretty good price.

That's why I decided on them, haha. Pretty much been reading about tires since I bought the truck and these are pretty well regarded. P series is important since I'm mainly highway driving and don't want a huge hit. I think it'll be a good upgrade from my Dunlop's.

Guy I talked to at America's Tire was super nice, too, much better experience on the phone particularly compared to Les Schwab where I go for convenience.

Poly performance always has good deals during holidays. ECGS might do something too, I'm on both mailing lists I'll let you know.

For sure, hope trail gear atleast does like 5% or free shipping. Need my dual case adapter plate too. ECGS would be awesome hopefully they do something with lockers and gears haha.

Anybody else get the Tire Pressure Recall on the stock tires? I'm gonna be honest here and say I didn't read it fully or really think about it. The jist of it that I got was that they had incorrect tire pressure values listed on the truck so the fix is to send out a new sticker for the inside of the door. If you don't feel like you can put a sticker on the inside of your door, you can take it to the dealer and they will 'install' the sticker for you.
