Tire Pressure light?

    just wondering if anyone knows y my tire pressure light would be on, when my tire pressure is fine?

    reset button didnt work.

    The sensors go to the spare too?

    i know we have problems with our vehicles at work (fords), the sensors are on a strap 180 degrees away from the valve stem, and sometimes they spin, changing the angle, and it offsets the reading.. but i don't know how our taco's are..

    Yep, happened to mine. After 2.5 yrs of ownership I decided to check the spare and it was under 20lbs.

    It probably is the spare..had the problem last week and went to a dealer cause i was out of town and the spare does have the sensor and it was low. They told me if the spare got 6 psi below the rest the light would come on.

    The spare tire has to be within a specified amount of pressure along with the other four. I think it's 5lbs.
